About the role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team at Dashmesh Singapore Pte Ltd. This full-time position is based in Penjuru Crescent West Region and involves the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products reach our clients on time and in excellent condition.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner to transport goods to designated locations
  2. Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring items are securely stowed and protected
  3. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking delivery times and obtaining customer signatures
  4. Communicate with the dispatch team to provide updates on delivery status and any issues encountered
  5. Ensure delivery vehicles are well-maintained and clean at all times
  6. Comply with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
  7. Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
  8. Delivering packages to customers in a timely manner.
  9. Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
  10. Interacting with clients in professional conduct.
  11. Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
  12. Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.
  13. Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
  14. Updating monthly mileage records.
  15. Driving a variety of vehicles, including motorbikes, cars, buses and trucks.

What we're looking for

  1. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record
  2. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the logistics industry
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  4. Extensive knowledge of the operating area.
  5. Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanour when interacting with clients
  6. Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items safely
  7. Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role and ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  8. Proficiency using GPS devices.
