Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication and assembly: Cut, shape, and assemble plastic parts to make finished products or subassemblies.
• Welding: Use methods such as hot gas, extrusion, or ultrasonic to join plastic parts according to drawings and specifications.
• Equipment operation: Operate and maintain plastic welding and fabrication equipment.
• Quality control: Check welds and finished products to ensure they are strong and meet quality standards.
• Technical interpretation: Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
• Maintenance and safety: Carry out routine equipment maintenance and keep a safe, clean work area by following safety procedures.
• Record-keeping: Document welding work, including materials used, output, and any issues.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in plastic welding
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, models, and blueprints
• Work with the team to complete assigned tasks
• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper handling of machines and tools
• Willing to perform overtime when required
• Good team player
