About the role

Join Becton Dickinson as a Production Operator in our Tuas facility. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the efficient and reliable operation of specialised manufacturing equipment to produce critical medical products. With a focus on safety and quality, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's mission of advancing the world of health.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate and monitor production equipment to manufacture medical devices and consumables
  2. Perform pre-start checks, quality inspections and routine maintenance on equipment
  3. Follow established production processes and procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality output
  4. Identify and report any equipment issues or production irregularities
  5. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot problems and implement improvements
  6. Maintain detailed production records and logs
  7. Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum N Level or O Level qualification; NITEC and Diploma holders are also welcome to apply
  2. Previous experience as a machine operator or at least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar manufacturing role
  3. Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new equipment and processes
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
  5. Effective communication and teamwork skills
  6. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment
  7. Able to commit to 12-hour rotating shifts as assigned or required
  8. local Singaporean/PR residency status only will be prioritised
