GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

  • Provide front-line technical support for customer-facing applications, particularly QAD ERP and its related applications.
  • Provide IT Technical Leadership in ERP application including QAD module on integrations, interface, reporting and system availability.
  • Maintain and support interfacing module between corporate and HQ systems with local applications, especially QAD.
  • Drive for sustainable solutions, simplified QAD ERP environment with conformance to system architecture, standards and practices.
  • Analyze user requirement and adopt System Life Cycle Development methodology in implementing changes.
  • Provide leadership to shared teams performing design and development deliverable, accountable for all design and development deliverable, identify areas of improvement and drive shared IM (Information Management) teams to design and implement proposed solutions
  • Work closely with business process owner ensuring on-time execution of deliverable. Share ownership on zero-defect QAD ERP releases.
  • Work with matrix internal teams to coordinate and plan: document reviews, code reviews, QA performance testing, and schedule available release windows for production rollover.
  • Work with internal shared support and maintenance teams to plan upgrade / maintenance projects for application and database versions, manage upgrades across shared and core IM teams.
  • Keep up to date with enabling technologies and work as a "change-agent" to promote their use for business productivity
  • Foster a strong working partnership of shared accountability with the primary internal and external technology providers (Technology Support Group, QAD, Progress, Streamserve) Communicate operational status to users and leadership.
  • Drive resolution of escalated items
  • Field and troubleshoot issues, configure system settings, and manage user access
  • Drive root cause investigation implementing continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements and optimizations to improve customer experience, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing quality
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, standard operating procedures, end-user support and training materials
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and new employees for customer-facing applications
  • Monitor system performance, generate reports, and provide insights to management on usage and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain update to date program manual and conduct audit to ensure alignment of actual practice and documented procedures.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of MES & ERP transformational projects and integrations with other DT systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards related to MES usage and data security.

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with expertise in ERP systems, particularly QAD/MFG Pro, and a track record of driving system optimizations and improvements in a manufacturing set-up. They excel in collaboration, ensuring system reliability and user satisfaction, while managing tasks independently in a fast-paced environment. With a customer-focused mindset, they embrace new technologies and drive compliance and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3-7 years experiences in implementing or supporting ERP Solution in Manufacturing environment. QAD/MFG Pro is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix Operating system and good understanding of Database support.
  • Hands-on experience in coding (Progress, Python, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access etc)
  • Good knowledge about Network and Infrastructure
  • Experience with database management and SQL
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical team member
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
