Cleaning Attendant

Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily cleaning of retail and office areas, including vacuuming and wiping surfaces.
  • Sanitize common touch points such as door handles, switches, phones, desks, and counters.
  • Clean glass and mirror surfaces (e.g. display shelves, glass doors), ensuring they are free of marks and fingerprints.
  • Empty rubbish bins and replace liners when needed.
  • Vacuum floors in common and high-traffic areas such as shop floor, hallways, and office spaces.
  • Spot clean carpets, rugs, and chairs as required.
  • Check cleaning supplies regularly and inform the supervisor when stock is low.
  • Keep cleaning tools and storage areas clean and well-organized.
  • Assist in serving drinks (e.g. coffee, tea) and preparing simple snacks for guests during visits.

Requirements

  • Possess general education
  • Experience in cleaning or housekeeping is an advantage
  • Careful and takes pride in keeping things clean and tidy
  • Responsible, on time, and can be trusted
  • Able to work half day on Saturdays.
