Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily accounting and financial reporting activities for one or more private investment vehicles/funds, ensuring all accounting processes and procedures adhere to regulatory requirements and internal control standards.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, prepare and provide regular updates on financial performance to external stakeholders, and respond to inquires and requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. This includes reviewing of direct taxes compliance and having proper transfer pricing documentation.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and service providers to prepare and file financial statements and tax documents.
  • Manage a team and external service providers (both local and overseas), providing guidance and mentorship to ensure that work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct performance review of businesses, business planning, budgeting and forecasting, including reviews, formulations and implementation of policies.
  • Support financial and tax due diligence for new acquisitions/businesses and set up of processes for new acquisitions/businesses.
  • Enhance process improvements and automation.
  • Assist in any other ad-hoc finance-related duties.
Requirements
  • Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in related field, experience with Big 4 accounting firms preferred.
  • Experience in consolidation accounting and experience in the real estate/fund industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles and practices, experience in financial reporting and analysis, excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Candidate must be a team player, fast learner, meticulous and have self-initiative.
