Job Description

The Procurement Assistant / Executive will support the project team in managing procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of equipment, materials, and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the project team in purchasing equipment, materials, and services required for ongoing projects
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and other procurement-related documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities
  • Liaise with suppliers on pricing, quotations, and delivery schedules
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services in line with project requirements
  • Assist in managing and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies
  • Research and identify potential suppliers and suitable products
  • Assist with equipment inspections and registration processes when required
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within the semiconductor or construction industry, including exposure to cost-saving initiatives
  • Relevant professional qualification or diploma
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and motivate team members
  • Good communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
