The Opportunity
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join us as Podiatrist Assistants. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical and administrative work, values patient interaction, and is committed to delivering an excellent standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
- Assist podiatrists during consultations, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms, ensuring equipment is clean, sanitised, and ready for use.
- Record patient histories, vital signs, and examination findings accurately.
- Assist with orthotic fittings, wound care, and routine foot treatments.
- Provide support to patients, including elderly individuals, before, during, and after treatments.
- Maintain strict hygiene and infection control protocols, including operation of sterilisation equipment.
Administrative & Patient Care
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Schedule and manage appointments.
- Handle patient enquiries, billing, invoicing, and payments.
- Maintain patient files and databases in accordance with confidentiality requirements.
- Assist with stock-taking and inventory control.
Requirements
- Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and maintain attention to detail.
- Professional, empathetic, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
- Work Days: 5 days/week (Monday -Saturday)
- Working Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
