PROJECT ENGINEER (ELV)

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Project Engineer to manage Extra Low Voltage (ELV) system projects from planning to completion. In this role, you will work closely with customers, consultant, end user, vendors, sub-contractors and internal teams to plan, organise, and execute project activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. You will be responsible for technical matters, coordination, attending site meetings, monitoring progress, and hands-on testing and commissioning. This position requires strong hand-on project management skills, technical knowledge, attention to detail, ability to maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to deliver successful, cost-effective, and high-quality ELV solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • To understand and familiarise assigned project(s) requirement
  • To define, request, select, negotiate and deploy right resources within timeline, budget
  • Work with internal and external parties to plan, organize and schedule direct activities with assigned project(s)
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties to on technical matters on products, systems, and installations
  • To initiate and attend all meetings and be involved in all discussions on project(s) related activities
  • Monitor and control project(s) activities on-site or off-site to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget
  • To provide the progress report update to internal and external stakeholders
  • To conduct testing based on the project requirement
  • To be accountable in executing project cost estimates diligently and ensure project profitability

Qualifications

  • Minimally Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related subject
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ELV (CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Fence Intrusion Detection System) or in Building/Industry Automation System
