Nacelle Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Nacelle Engineering Lead to drive the design and development of nacelles, with a primary focus on inlet and thrust reverser systems. This leadership role will oversee nacelle projects from concept through certification, ensuring compliance with FAA/EASA standards (CAAC advantageous).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver nacelle design projects.
- Define and implement nacelle design requirements, covering performance, safety, repairability, and maintainability.
- Oversee conceptual and detailed design, including materials selection, stress analysis, and installation interfaces.
- Collaborate with engine OEMs, suppliers, and cross-functional teams for effective nacelle integration.
- Manage technical risks, testing, and validation of nacelle systems.
- Support customer repair needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Period:
- 3-year contract + 2-year renewal (not permanent)
Salary:
- Up to $16,000
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
Location:
- Paya Lebar
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Avionics Engineering.
- 10–14 years' experience in nacelle design, development, and certification.
- Strong knowledge of FAA/EASA requirements; CAAC is a plus.
- Prior nacelle-specific experience is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
