Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Teacher Assistant to support our teaching staff in providing quality education and a safe learning environment for our students. The successful candidate will play an integral role in assisting both classroom and Physical Education (PE) activities, including supervising students during lessons and accompanying them to designated sports venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in preparing and organizing teaching materials, classroom activities, and learning resources.
- Provide learning support to students individually or in small groups under the teacher's guidance.
- Supervise students to maintain discipline and ensure their safety within classrooms, common areas, and during outdoor activities.
Support PE teachers in managing students and logistics, including accompanying students to external venues such as:
Basketball Court at Blk 108 Jalan Bukit Merah
Strip Open Space beside Rubicon Building at 350 Jalan Bukit Merah
Assist in setting up and managing PE equipment, facilitating student participation in sports and physical activities.
- Monitor student attendance, behavior, and report any incidents promptly to the teacher-in-charge.
- Provide care and support for students' physical, social, and emotional well-being.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the teacher or school administration.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, responsible, and able to supervise and manage groups of students effectively.
- Physically fit and able to support outdoor and sports-related activities.
