Job Title: IT Helpdesk I

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Helpdesk I to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide first-level support to end-users, assisting with technical issues and ensuring a smooth operation of IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to higher-level support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and user experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on user satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • 1+ year of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are a plus.
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role is preferred but not required.
