Key Responsibilities:
- Safely collect, segregate, and package hazardous waste materials according to regulations
- Transport waste to designated treatment or disposal facilities in compliance with safety standards
- Operate and maintain equipment used in handling hazardous substances
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe storage and labeling of hazardous materials
- Maintain accurate records of waste handling, movement, and disposal activities
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
- NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related fields
- Prior experience in waste management, industrial safety, or hazardous material handling preferred
- Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and hazardous waste protocols
- Physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work in demanding environments
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
