If you're up for a challenging yet purpose-filled internship, we welcome you to the team

You will be part of Scoot's web management team, managing the overall content on Scoot's web pages, whilst assisting with ensuring key pages are optimised for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). You'll also be equipped with all the tools and know-how required in managing key markets within our network, where your input may help shape strategies in maintaining and improving Scoot's organic performance.

If a meaningful internship is something you prefer over performing menial tasks just to check off a requirement in your course program, this is the internship for you.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for organic traffic growth 

  • Optimise website content (with new or existing content), meta tags and other on-page element to improve search engine rankings

  • Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance

  • Analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics, providing regular reports and actionable insights. 

  • Assist in managing/creating web content for regular marketing campaigns.

Key Skills include:

  • Good interpersonal skills; a team player 

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.

  • Knowledge of search engine algorithms and technical SEO 

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-function teams.

  • Independent, responsible, proactive, resourceful; a self-starter  

  • Able to multi-task under tight deadlines in a rapidly growing company with a dynamic culture
