Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Class 5 Self Loading Truck Driver to operate self-loading trucks for the transportation and delivery of excavator and forklift across various sites in Singapore. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with self-loading mechanisms (e.g., cranes or hooklifts) and a strong understanding of road safety, local traffic regulations, and proper load handling procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive Class 5 self-loading trucks, ensuring safe loading and unloading of goods using onboard lifting equipment (e.g., crane or hooklift).
  • Operate and drive Excavator up the self-loading trucks.
  • Transport materials and equipment to and from project sites across Singapore.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues immediately.
  • Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
  • Maintain clear and accurate delivery documentation and logbooks.
  • Adhere strictly to traffic rules, workplace safety, and health (WSH) regulations.
  • Perform minor maintenance and cleanliness of vehicle.
  • Assist with site-related logistics tasks as required.

Requirements:
  • Valid Singapore Class 5 Driving Licence (with relevant experience).
  • Proven experience operating self-loading trucks (e.g., lorry cranes, hooklift systems, tipper trucks with cranes).
  • Valid Excavator Operator License.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, road safety, and transport regulations in Singapore.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual work when needed.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage tight delivery schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in loading and transport system.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's road network and industrial locations.
  • Basic understanding of load capacity, weight distribution, and rigging techniques.
