Adecco is partnering with a global leader in design, engineering, and construction services, specializing in the construction of high-tech facilities such as data centers, life sciences facilities, and industrial plants, focusing on precision engineering and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

They are looking for a M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team. You will be responsible to manage M&E project cost estimation, tendering, contracts, and final accounts, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and full compliance. The Job

  • Tender & Estimation - Review tender/RFP documents and engineering drawings to provide accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and timely clarifications during the bidding stage.
  • Bills of Quantities & Sub-Contracting - Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities and issue requests for proposal to subcontractors, conducting clarification meetings and rate/cost comparisons before recommending awards.
  • Contract Administration - Support daily commercial operations, including budget reporting, cost control, and ensuring all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations.
  • Commercial Problem-Solving - Assist in resolving contractual or commercial issues and manage final account settlements with both subcontractors and clients.
  • Project Collaboration - Work closely with Project Managers, Finance, and Purchasing teams, as well as external clients, contractors, and vendors to maintain smooth communication and project alignment.
  • Industry Compliance & Reporting - Maintain structured documentation and reporting to meet project, client, and regulatory requirements.

The Talent

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).

  • 3-4 years' relevant experience in engineering and construction with exposure to either:

  • Mechanical works (ACMV, fire protection, plumbing & sanitary, leak detection, utilities piping, equipment installation), or

  • Electrical works (HV/MV/LV systems, switchgears, transformers, generators, UPS, ELV systems, containment and distribution).
