Responsibilities:

  • Lead nursing teams with strategic direction, promoting excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of nursing staff to uphold clinical standards.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based care protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction to drive improvements.
  • Design staffing models and workflows to enhance care delivery and resource efficiency.
  • Manage nursing budgets and coordinate medical supply needs.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to elevate patient safety and clinical outcomes.
  • Conduct audits and evaluations to support evidence-based enhancements.
  • Develop and implement training and continuing education programs.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing staff.
  • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration for seamless care coordination.
  • Support setup of nursing services for new hospital, including staffing, workflows, and policies.
  • Work with facility planners to align infrastructure with patient-centered care.
  • Establish systems for inventory management, equipment procurement, and infection control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a Singapore Nursing Board-approved institution.
  • Post-basic qualification in relevant nursing specialty.
  • Registered Nurse in Singapore with at least 10 years of post-registration clinical experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Prior experience in nursing management in Operating Theatre department.
