Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and manages repair quote processing for all component repairs sent out under SIAEC's Inventory Technical Management (ITM) program.
  • Manages team performance to ensure prompt follow up with repair vendors on repair status and/or customers on quote approvals.
  • Monitors repair vendor performance and organizes regular performance review sessions with repair vendors in terms of shop turn around and quality of repair work done.
  • Ensures that repair vendors adhere to committed shop turn around time per PSAA/SSC obligations or commitments under Fixed Price Repair Agreements signed with SIAEC.
  • Reviews repair quotes on adequacy of work scope quoted and for possibility of replacement options as alternatives to repair.
  • Follows up with customer for recharging of repair cost where applicable and to resolve disputes on repair invoices.

Requirements

  • Polytechnic Diploma in an Engineering field
  • Working experience in Repair Management, vendor sourcing or Inventory Technical Management in the aviation industry would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Able to think analytically
  • Advance computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, and Tableau would be an advantage
