Key Responsibilities:
  1. Audit Engagements

·       Plan, execute, and complete statutory audit engagements in accordance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and firm policies.

·       Review working papers, financial statements, and audit documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

·       Identify, research, and resolve accounting and auditing issues arising during the audit.

·       Prepare audit planning documents, risk assessments, and analytical procedures.

·       Ensure engagements are completed within agreed timelines and budget.

  1. Client Management

·       Liaise with clients to obtain necessary audit evidence and resolve audit queries in a timely and professional manner.

·       Develop and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating an understanding of their business operations and risks.

·       Provide value-added recommendations for process and control improvements.

  1. Team Leadership & Development

·       Supervise, train, and review the work of junior audit staff to ensure compliance with firm and professional standards.

·       Provide guidance and constructive feedback to support team members' technical and professional development.

·       Promote a collaborative and supportive team environment.

  1. Compliance & Quality

·       Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), Companies Act, and relevant regulatory updates.

·       Ensure all audit procedures and documentation meet the firm's quality control standards and ISQC 1 (or ISQM 1) requirements.

·       Safeguard confidentiality and adhere to the firm's Code of Ethics and professional conduct.

  1. Administrative & Professional Responsibilities

·       Monitor engagement progress, billing, and collection status, and report variances to the manager/partner.

·       Participate in internal initiatives such as training, process improvement, or technical updates.

·       Handle ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
  1. Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
  2. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA (Singapore), or equivalent (or currently pursuing).
  3. Minimum 2–4 years of relevant audit experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  4. Experience with Singapore statutory audits and consolidation audits is preferred.
  5. Strong technical knowledge of SFRS, SSA, and related regulatory requirements.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and audit software (e.g., CaseWare or equivalent).
  7. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
  10. Positive work attitude, professional integrity, and commitment to continuous learning.
