Job Summary:

We are looking for a caring and responsible Relief Student Care Teacher to support our student care centre. The role involves supervising and guiding primary school students, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in daily activities when regular staff are on leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students under your care.
  • Guide students with their daily routines, including homework supervision and revision.
  • Facilitate enrichment activities, games, and values-based programmes.
  • Manage classroom behaviour with patience and consistency.
  • Assist in serving meals and ensuring cleanliness of the environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and follow centre guidelines and routines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent (students awaiting further studies may apply).
  • Prior experience in teaching/tutoring or working with children is an advantage.
  • Responsible, patient, and enjoys working with children.
  • Able to manage groups of primary school children effectively.
  • Willingness to step in at short notice to cover staff absences.

Work Schedule & Remuneration:

  • Relief basis, as and when needed.
  • Weekdays, typically between 1.00 pm – 7.00 pm (hours may vary).
  • Hourly pay depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
