Job Description

  1. Responsible for developing and driving both short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with business goals, market needs, and emerging industry trends.

  2. Continuously monitor and analyse market and industry dynamics to identify business opportunities.

  3. Execute all sales activities in the sales area and achieving continuous sales growth and targets.

  4. Develop a deep understanding of the company's food products, features, uses, and benefits to effectively communicate with clients and address their requirements.

  5. Provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports in alignment with target expectations.

  6. Identify and engage in high-potential projects or accounts to build and maintain strong client relationships and long-term partnerships.

  7. Lead pricing strategy discussions across channels, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, SKU pricing, and market trends to maximize profitability.

  8. Utilize analytics tools (in collaboration with IT or data teams) to support data-driven decision making and enhance sales effectiveness.

  9. Responsible for annual sales budget and monthly sales reporting submission.

  10. Analyse and report on performance versus targets, identify root cause for non-performing and performing indicators for follow up actions.

  11. Collaborate with sales representatives from Group companies to explore cross-selling opportunities and leverage synergies across markets.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum NITEC or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the bakery sales/manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven track record in sales.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs and market trends

  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools

  • Possess Class 3 driving license with own transport.

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to effectively serve our Mandarin-speaking customers
