  1. Management of Baggage Flow

  2. Develop a good understanding and manage the baggage flow network across airport terminals

  3. Utilise the Baggage Management System (BMS) to monitor and optimise the usage of baggage resources, such as baggage belts, race tracks, early bag storage facilities, etc
  4. Operate the predictive baggage platforms and understand its data to detect anomalies in baggage flow and put in preventive measures
  5. Implement dynamic adjustments to resource allocations to accommodate flight schedule or aircraft changes, while ensuring minimal disruption to baggage flow

  6. Incident Management

  7. Work closely with Baggage Lead on shift to coordinate recovery efforts among internal and external stakeholders

  8. Deploy and manage ground responders during incidents and/or adverse weather conditions
  9. Engage with airlines and ground handlers on manual baggage handling when necessary

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree, preferably in aviation management or operations management
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts and weekends
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environment and make quick, informed decisions
  • Team player possessing a growth mindset and demonstration of resilience

  • Familiarity with data analytics and operations management is advantageous

  • Familiarity with aircraft types and a good understanding of Apron & Baggage operations would be an advantage

  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast paced environment
  • Possession of a Class 3 driving license is preferred
