Equipment and Engineering Director

Responsibilities:
- Comply with GMP/EHS requirements to ensure that they are well implemented.
- Make annual plans, targets and budget of department and factory, and ensure their realization.
- Continuously optimize and improve the state, operation, safety and reliability of production equipment, facilities and power systems, ensure product quality and site safety, and improve production efficiency.
- Manage new investment projects and renovation projects, control the budget and project schedule to meet the expected demand.
- Manage external engineering team and construction unit to ensure engineering quality and operation safety.
- Ensure the good availability of equipment, facilities and power systems, test, verification and calibration of new devices, correct use of facilities and power equipment, timely maintenance, adjustment and cleaning, to ensure operation safety and production needs.
- Ensure production and plant power supply, timely external and internal communication, take measures to reduce the risk and impact of power supply.
- Reviews equipment, facilities and power related deviation investigations, takes action to correct problems, and takes preventive action to prevent recurrence of problems.
- Reviews requests for changes to equipment, facilities and power, assesses quality and safety impacts, and implements required actions to mitigate the impact of changes.
- Review, register and file the relevant documents to ensure the timely, accurate and complete records.
- Establish and optimize the relevant operation process, train and ensure strict implementation, report problems in time and take the initiative to solve them.
- Recruit, develop and promote excellent employees, manage, train and guide employees, and continuously build teams to meet the company's evolving needs.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Build an efficient team to bring out the initiative, enthusiasm and creativity of each team member.
- Effective inter-departmental communication and cooperation.
- Develop and train subordinates to improve work skills and efficiency.
Requirement:
- Bachelor degree or above
- Major in mechanical, electrical or chemical automation
- Professional in English, good conversational Mandarin skillset to communication frequently with China HQ for technical communication
- Good computer skills
- At least 8 years of engineering and maintenance management experience in pharmaceutical or chemical industry and 3 years of team management experience
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Good leadership and staff development skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Good contract negotiation skills
- Guide and supervise affairs of subordinates
