Sustainable Finance Intern (Mandarin Speaker)

Internship Period: 12 January July 2026

Overview

Job Description

This is a front office role in Asian Investment Banking Division (AIBD). You will be:


•    Assisting senior Sustainable Finance team members in promoting Sustainable Finance in APAC (including Mandarin speaking market / clients), including the origination and structuring of Sustainable finance transactions

•    Supporting business development and marketing initiatives such as analysing the market, data analysis of the client targets, rating tools

•    Developing/enhancing products

•    Preparing marketing materials/ reports / business management reports

•    Supporting on MUFG led industry events

•    Partnering with various RM and product areas to develop and market Sustainable finance products

•    Receiving cross-product experience across DCM, PF, TB, Loans – from a Sustainable Finance perspective

Job Requirements

Skill set

•    Fluency in Business Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin speaking stakeholders / markets / clients in APAC countries

•    High Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Word

•    Excellent oral and writing skills

•    Data Analytics (be comfortable in generating a story from numbers)

•    Interests/passion for Sustainability and/or Sustainable finance

•    Keen to read research papers and keep up with latest innovations
