Responsibilities:

  • Lead Logistics Operations: Manage logistics operations to achieve KPIs and ensure service standards are consistently met.
  • Develop Performance Metrics: Establish operational performance metrics, financial goals, and growth plans through innovative and effective solutions.
  • Define Roles and Responsibilities: Clearly define departmental roles and responsibilities, plan for future needs, and provide performance counseling and development support to employees.
  • Collaborate for Effectiveness: Work closely with clients and departmental teams to ensure operational efficiency and maximize the flow of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Supervise and Develop Staff: Supervise, mentor, and develop team members in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Manage Knowledge Resources: Ensure that information and resources are easily accessible and retrievable to support decision-making.
  • Implement Quality Systems: Oversee quality assurance systems and continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Define Operational Requirements: Identify operational needs and implement strategies that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Utilize Lean Principles: Apply Lean Warehousing methodologies to drive improvement programs focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, safety, and best practices.
  • Administer Company Policies: Effectively communicate and enforce company policies across the team to ensure compliance and alignment.
  • Review Performance Expectations: Regularly assess and review performance expectations with the leadership team, providing constructive feedback and guidance to team members.
  • Training and Development: Take responsibility for the training, development, and performance evaluations of staff to foster growth and improve performance.
  • Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and sustain positive working relationships with customers to enhance collaboration and ensure service excellence.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in logistics operations management, providing overall direction, implementation, and continuous improvement in all phases of logistics solutions
  • Candidates with experience in logistics operations for cosmetics or skincare products will have an added advantage
