Job Scope

  • Design, develop and implement process improvements for plasma and thermal processing systems
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new process technologies and techniques
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective process integration
  • Troubleshoot process issues and implement solutions to improve productivity and quality
  • Document and standardise processes, creating detailed operating procedures
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff
  • Monitor and analyse process data to identify opportunities for optimisation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in plasma and thermal processing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in plasma or thermal processing environments
  • Strong understanding of plasma physics, thermodynamics and heat transfer principles
  • Proficiency in process modelling, simulation and data analysis tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
