To provide high quality service to customers by doing the procedures accurately and treating patients with respect and compassion.

Job Description:

  • Upholds patient's rights and confidentiality.
  • Assess patient condition and suitability for procedure with detailed medical history if patient is determined to be unsuitable for procedure ordered.Performs general maintenance of equipment and basic troubleshooting.
  • Obtains, analyses and compares results and prepare preliminary report for routine cases accurately, and assists in the analysis and reporting for complex cases.
  • Routinely checks on patients and identify changes in patient's symptoms or test parameters.
  • Adheres to clinical protocols at all times.
  • Communicates routine information and patients' case effectively.
  • Provides explanation of various cardiac investigations and the relevance of each to the patient's current condition.
  • Works effectively as a team member within the department.
  • Demonstrates good self-leadership to achieve objectives at an individual level.
  • Demonstrates acceptable problem solving and decision making skills at the individual level.
  • Prioritizes own cases based on patients' needs.
  • Mindful of cost considerations and utilizes consumables appropriately.
  • Follows organization / department risk management policies.
  • Monitors and manages own performance to match expectations.
  • Any duties as assigned by Senior Cardiac Tech / Cardiologist / Manager

Job Requirement:

  • Degree in Medical Science/ Cardiac Technology/ Biomedical Technology/ Biomedical Sciences/ Biological Science or equivalent with Board Certification, at least 2 years of relevant working experience or the equivalent and Demonstrated competency OR
  • Diploma with at least 6 years of relevant working experience or the equivalent with Board Certification and Demonstrated competency
  • Team player who possesses good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
