How you create impact

A Vertical Lead in Sales plays a pivotal role in driving team performance and directly engaging with keycustomers to exceed growth targets. Combining strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, they coach theirteam using deep industry experience and strong interpersonal skills to build and expand critical customerrelationships. This role is both dynamic and results-driven—focused on designing and executing initiatives thatelevate individual performance and unlock long-term, profitable growth across the full suite of products andservices.

Industry Strategy & Execution

  • Understand and analyze industry trends; communicate insights effectively to the team.
  • Execute the defined Corporate Vertical Strategy aligned with market dynamics.
  • Identify growth opportunities through client prospecting, market exploration, and innovation.
  • Ensure supply chain solutions meet industry-specific requirements, involving the right KN talent.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor the Key Account Management (KAM) team to drive vertical growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance and coaching to foster high performance and professional development.
  • Actively participate in recruiting top talent for the Account Management team.
  • Promote knowledge sharing via the Industry Knowledge Centre and cross-vertical collaboration.

Business Development

  • Conduct market analysis and networking to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Expand client base and revenue streams through targeted prospecting and strategic outreach.
  • 4. Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring tailored solutions and high satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and establish strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to support growth.

Performance Management

  • Monitor gross profit and volume performance; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline with high closing ratios, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness in CoreLOG.
