Pool Guard

Job Scope

• Enforce swimming pool rules and regulations, reminding users to ensure water safety and advise/enforce supervision of children in the pool.
• Be stationed at a position of clear and unobstructed view to supervise designated area of coverage.
• Identify unsafe behaviour or water condition and approach the matters promptly.
• Assist in guest enquiries.
• Identify persons in distress and render assistance immediately.
• Inform nearest lifeguard or venue in charge immediately if water rescue is required.
• Assist lifeguards in land rescue, execution of emergency action plan, administering of first aid/ CPR and AED if needed.
• Assist during incidents to your best ability, including but not limited to crowd management, clearing of pools, informing, and guiding of emergency services, traffic control and others.
• Work shifts: 8am to 3.30pm/ 2pm to 9.30pm

Requirement

• Posses valid Standard first aid, CPR and AED. Candidates without certification will still be considered. Training will be provided.
• Confident to work in water environment and be able to enter water when necessary.
• Willing to work on shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible and be punctual for work.
• Able to communicate well and politely to provide assistance and advice.
