About the role

As a Quantity Surveyor at The DreamR Project Pte Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality interior design projects. Based in our office in Bukit Merah Central Region, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects, from budgeting and cost control to contract administration and value engineering. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and creative team.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for interior design projects
  2. Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
  3. Monitoring project costs and identifying potential savings opportunities
  4. Providing regular financial reporting and analysis to project managers and clients
  5. Assisting with the procurement of materials and services
  6. Collaborating with the design team to ensure project objectives are met within budget
  7. Maintaining detailed records and documentation for all financial aspects of projects

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the interior design or construction industry
  2. Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques
  3. Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and spreadsheet applications
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, designers, and contractors
  5. Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and on time
  6. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  7. Familiarity with local building regulations and industry standards
