Enrolled Nurse

You will be a part of our nursing team providing a high standard of nursing care to our renal patients.

Job Description:

• Actively participate in all aspects of patient care in dialysis procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all team members (Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager) by using proper communication channels and documentation standards, including updating patient records, electronic systems, and forms accurately and promptly regarding the patient's treatment and care.
• To perform needling of A-V Fistula, A-V Graft for initiating dialysis process.
• Responsible to monitor and document patient's vital signs during treatment and report any abnormality to staff in charge.
• Educate patients as and when necessary.
• Responsible for the safely of the patient while on dialysis, reporting all accidents and incidents and completing all relevant documentation.
• Assist doctor and other staff during treatment and examination of patients.
• Ensure safe and effective use of medical equipment and supplies.
• Ensure that all supplies and equipment are available for use at all times.
• Carry out delegated tasks competently and safely, ensuring all clinical and non-clinical duties assigned by the Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager are completed according to centre protocols, dialysis guidelines and organisational policies.
• Take an active role in participation of a smooth operation of the dialysis.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment at the dialysis centre.
• Abide by the legal and statutory rules relating to nursing practice by Singapore Nursing Board.
• Maintain the Standard of Conduct in accordance with the Singapore Nursing Board Code of Conduct for Nurses.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a NITEC in Nursing.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a dialysis centre.
• Valid registration with Singapore Nursing Board.
