Cylindrical & Surface Grinding Machinist

5.5 Days Work Week

Monday to Friday : 0830 – 1730

Saturday : 0830 – 1230

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manual or semi-automatic grinding machines
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Perform surfaces / profile grinding and check wheel balancing.
  • Measure and inspect workpieces using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometres, high gauge, dial indicators).
  • Ensure high-quality surface finishes and maintain tight tolerances.
  • Performs regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting of grinding equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop
  • Work with the Supervisor on the job planning, delivery time, scheduling, machine.
  • Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in Cylindrical & surface grinding or toolroom machining
  • Strong knowledge of surface finishing techniques, flatness tolerances, and material characteristics.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
  • Team players with good work ethics and attention to details.
