The opportunity
KC SPACE (Kid Castle Education Group) is seeking dedicated and passionate Student Care Teachers to join our vibrant team in the Clementi Central West Region. As a Student Care Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting the academic, social, and personal development of primary school students during their after-school hours.
Key responsibilities
- Provide engaging and age-appropriate educational activities, including homework assistance, academic enrichment, and recreational programs
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for students to learn and grow
- Develop positive relationships with students and foster their social and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with parents and school staff to understand and address the individual needs of each student
- Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain the highest standards of care and safety
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to continually improve teaching practices
What we're looking for
- Relevant teaching or childcare experience, preferably in a primary school or student care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and their families
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Knowledge of age-appropriate learning activities and behaviour management strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to the needs of the students
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field

With nearly 40 years of educational experience, the group has established the children's learning and growth space KC SPACE. It offers two core children's education products — KC MANDARIN and KC STUDENT CARE — providing systematic Chinese language training courses, as well as after-school care and tutoring services for children aged 2 to 12.
