About the role
A & T Waste Haulage Services Pte Ltd, a leading waste management company in the West Region, is seeking an experienced HookLift Driver to join our team. This full-time role is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of waste materials using specialised hookloader vehicles. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in supporting our operations and contributing to the company's waste management solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Operate and maintain hookloader trucks in a safe and responsible manner
- Load, transport, and unload waste materials at designated collection and disposal sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of waste collection and disposal activities
- Assist with other tasks as required to support the waste management operations
What we're looking for
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's License with HookLift endorsement
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating hookloader vehicles in the waste management or related industry
- Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safety best practices
- Excellent driving skills and ability to manoeuvre large vehicles in tight spaces
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to perform physical labour as required
