Language Trainers – Malay, Indonesian, Thai, Japanese

Location: Singapore (In-person)

Language Services Direct is a London-based global language training provider, working with top clients from a wide range of sectors. We are committed to delivering high-quality language instruction tailored to the needs of our clients.

Role Summary

We are seeking qualified and experienced native-speaking Language Trainers of Malay, Indonesian, Thai, and Japanese for a salaried teaching role based in Singapore. This position involves 30 hours of in-person teaching per week.

You'll be part of a dynamic, professional team that values flexibility, innovation, and excellence in language training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective face-to-face language lessons to adult learners.
  • Prepare lesson plans and learning materials aligned with client goals.
  • Apply preferred teaching methodologies, including Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Learning (TBL), learner-centred approaches, and blended learning techniques.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to ensure consistent quality and curriculum alignment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Native speaker of Malay, Indonesian, Thai, or Japanese.
  • Minimum 3 years' teaching experience with adult learners.
  • Relevant teaching Degree and National Certification required
  • Must be currently based in Singapore.
  • Available for in-person lessons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to learner success.
