Key Responsibilities- Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist the Head Chef in food preparation, cooking, and plating in a precise and organised manner.
- Prepare ingredients, follow recipes accurately, and ensure consistency in all dishes.
- Support daily mise-en-place and maintain clean workstations.
- Work efficiently during service, managing time and tasks with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the role.
- Contribute to menu development and fusion ideas when required.
- Prior culinary experience in a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine, flavours, spices, and techniques is highly preferred.
- Strong commitment to hygiene, punctuality, and kitchen discipline.
- Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
- Ability to take direction well and communicate effectively.
- Passion for learning and progressing in the culinary field.
