HSE & Environmental Stewardship

  • Champion a positive safety culture; ensure hazards are identified, risks assessed and controls implemented and reviewed.
  • Ensure safe, environmentally acceptable methods are in place and that plant/equipment is suitable, properly operated and maintained.
  • Prepare and drill emergency response plans for marine operations; promote "total job safety" among employees and subcontractors.

Marine Assets (JUB/SEP & Barges)

  • Develop equipment schedules, maintenance plans and readiness checks; ensure statutory and class compliance where applicable.

Planning, Reporting & Commercial Awareness

  • Drive look‑ahead planning and resource utilisation; approve minor materials/consumables requisitions.
  • Ensure timely superintendent/supervisory reporting for progress monitoring; promptly advise management of issues that could constitute variations and keep robust records.

People & Capability

  • Induct, brief and train personnel; verify competency for allocated duties; identify training needs for supervisors and crews; uphold fair and consistent discipline.

Governance

  • Work to the McConnell Dowell Integrated Management System and Project Execution Plan; participate in audits and continuous improvement.
  • Any other duties as may be required by the Company.

About You

  • Experience: 15+ years in marine/civil construction supervision leading field operations; 10–15 years hands‑on with JUB/SEP and barge operations in similar roles.
  • Qualifications: Trade or technical qualification relevant to barge/JUB systems; construction/site management credentials preferred.
  • Accreditations: IJUBOA accreditation desirable; up‑to‑date JUB operational knowledge and competency.
  • Work pattern: Able to work an alternate 6‑day week; willing to start early to align with marine tides/operations; project transport provided from Tanah Merah MRT.
