Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Head Chef (Bakery).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee overall bakery operations and take full responsibility for product quality and production.
- Manage all bakery staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure consistent execution of all bakery items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day bakery and store operations.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.
- Drive innovation while maintaining alignment with the brand's culinary direction.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Bakery Chef, or equivalent, with bakery experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Solid knowledge of bakery production processes, recipe execution, and quality control.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Flexibility and resilience to work in a fast-paced environment with high operational demands.
