Warehouse Assistant Cum Forklift Driver

Job Responsibilities:

• To assist daily warehouse operations, related with inbound/ outbound logistics activities and administration to optimise the Company's service quality and standard in order to meet the requirement(s) in line with the Company's strategic view and regulatory requirement(s).

• Assist in the daily warehouse operations to improve the operating standard and efficiency of the warehouse operations.

• Perform the operations to ensure prompt and good services, and provide prompt rectification to any service lapse identified.

• Employ best practices in the functions of warehouse operations, inventory control, and services for the most efficient and effective approach.

• Be responsible to:

1. assist in the daily warehouse activities such as goods receiving, picking & packing, printing labels and scanning for put-away, container loading & unloading, storing of goods for inbound/outbound in line with process documentations, periodical cycle count, goods inventory check, and compiling warehouse reports.

2. Maximize warehouse space utilization.

3. Adopt good housekeeping, ensure cleanliness and overall safety practice to achieve well-organized and safe-working environment, including reviewing safety processes.

4. Prioritize work according to order urgency to ensure the fulfilment of tasks in warehouse operations within normal work hours and/or after normal work hours, if necessary, as being part of responsibility commitment.

5. Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to handle goods within premises. And to maintain material handling equipment in good condition with daily checks, top up battery water, charging when required and to highlight to superior if faulty or damaged.

6. Put good warehouse operational standards in place to boost performance.

7. Effectively handle to manage the workload in all execution of fulfillment activity to prepare, pack, and classify according to destination.

8. Provide an effective warehouse storage of goods and its handling in compliance with the regulatory requirements and legislations.

9. Follow procedures and assist in overall warehouse operations including warehouse layouting, inventory control, storeroom movements, documentation, and other services.

10. Monitor physical movement, perform material handling, receive and deliver the goods to the desired routing / processing / recipient or any other concerned parties.

11. Assist the superior in conducting periodical physical stock-counts.

• Adopt knowledge to participate in providing good operational services and putting in place a process of continuous service improvement.

• Review and propose correction processes when necessary.

• Be self-motivated to enhance productivity and perform other tasks as assigned by superior. To maintain harmonious relation with other colleagues.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 'O'/'N' level or equivalent.

• Possess a valid Singapore Forklift license.

• Certified to operate MHE is preferred.

• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Display a high degree of integrity and responsibility.

• Willing to commit overtime (when required).

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Fridays : 0800hrs to 1700hrs

• Saturdays (Alternate) :0800hrs to 1200hrs

Total Working days: 5.25 days
