Your Role: Lead Climate Strategy in SE Asia

We're looking for a driven Principal Consultant to lead our Climate Change & Net-Zero Strategy services in SE Asia and Singapore, while also supporting clients across Asia-Pacific. You'll be the face of our climate advisory services in Singapore – building client relationships, leading projects, and driving growth.

You'll work across APAC, delivering practical, high-quality solutions for clients in:

  • Aligning with IFRS and other mandatory sustainability reporting requirements
  • Climate risk and scenario analysis
  • GHG emissions accounting (Scopes 1, 2 & 3)
  • Net-zero and decarbonisation strategy
  • Renewable energy and fleet transition planning

What you'll do

  • Lead & Grow: Build SLR's presence in Singapore and beyond through business development, thought leadership, and client engagement.
  • Deliver Projects: Manage end-to-end delivery of climate strategy projects, ensuring quality, insight, and impact.
  • Inspire Teams: Mentor and manage junior consultants, manage project teams, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Shape Solutions: Develop new service offerings aligned with market needs and regulatory trends.

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years' experience in climate change, sustainability, or related fields
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Climate risk assessments & scenario analysis
    • GHG accounting (including Scope 3)
    • Net-zero, carbon neutral and other sustainability frameworks (including SBTi)
    • Decarbonisation strategy and implementation roadmaps
  • A thorough understanding of the core requirements of the IFRS S2, as well as the TCFD recommendations.
  • Demonstrable experience in business development, client growth, and winning work.
  • Ability to distil quantitative and qualitative data and communicate it succinctly to clients.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
