Responsibilities

As an Technology Specialist working for an enterprise system integrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems for diverse clients. Your key areas of responsibility will include:

Network Design, Implementation and Management:

· Design and implement secure and efficient network infrastructures.

· Manage network configurations, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.

· Troubleshoot network issues and ensure minimal downtime.

Security Management:

· Implement and manage security measures eg Firewalls to protect client systems from threats.

· Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.

Client Support and Collaboration:

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients.

· Collaborate with client IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of systems.

· Conduct training sessions and create documentation to support client IT staff.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

· Identify opportunities for improving existing systems and processes.

Qualifications

We're seeking interns with a strong foundation in IT, a keen interest in support and system integration, and a willingness to learn. Academic background, relevant certifications, and hands-on curiosity are all valued. This is a great chance to gain practical experience and grow in a dynamic tech environment. Here are the key qualifications to look for:

1. Educational Qualifications:

· Minimum Diploma with Professional Certifications.

· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) for networking expertise preferred

· Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

1. Professional Experience:

·Relevant Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in roles of deploying networking and security firewall solutions, preferably in a system integrator environment

· Ability to deploy and/or troubleshoot networking (wired, wireless) and firewall solutions
