The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
Curate and maintain high-quality instruction-following datasets for advancing human-AI collaboration.
Train and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) on curated datasets to develop next-generation AI assistants.
Conduct experiments and evaluate models to identify effective techniques for alignment and collaboration.
Contribute to publications at top-tier research venues and present findings to the academic community.
Collaborate closely with team members on research initiatives and interdisciplinary projects.
Support teaching activities and mentor students when required.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience in fine-tuning LLMs on curated datasets
Experience in curating datasets both synthetic and from humans
Good programming skills and experience with machine learning framework
Publication record is a plus
Ability to work independently and in a team.
