Our client is a Semicons manufacturer for Precision Engineering. Currently, we are looking for a Tool Maker.

Job Details:

  • Salary range: $2000-$3000
  • Working Hour: Monday to Friday (normal working hour)
  • Working Location: Tuas (West area)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Tool Maker specializing in stamping is responsible for designing, building, and repairing tools, dies, and fixtures used in metal stamping processes. They work with precision machinery, interpret technical drawings, and ensure the quality and functionality of stamping tools. Their role is crucial for the efficient production of metal parts.
  • Design and Development: Assisting in the design and development of tooling components and fixtures based on specifications.
  • Tool Fabrication: Manufacturing individual parts for stamping and forming tools, using various machining techniques like milling, turning, grinding, and drilling.
  • Assembly and Testing: Assembling complex stamping and forming tools, and conducting initial sampling and testing.
  • Operation and Maintenance: Operating and maintaining various machine tools such as CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and stamping presses.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and resolving issues with existing tools and dies to minimize downtime.
