Summary of the role:

Our client is Global Manufacturing Company and they are looking for a Business Architect and Test Lead manage the end-to-end business design and ensure quality delivery of their ERP systems. This role partners closely with business and IT teams to align processes, capture requirements, and build solutions that are fit for purpose. At the same time, you will lead the ERP testing strategy—planning, executing, and tracking test cycles to guarantee reliability, smooth deployment, and successful programme milestones.

Responsibilities:

  • You will define and oversee end-to-end business process design, ensuring requirements are complete and aligned to business objectives.
  • Partnering with Business Solution and Process Leads, you'll resolve design issues, define KPIs, and support business modeling to keep the solution future-proof.
  • On the testing side, you will lead all ERP testing phases, from planning through execution, including system integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing. This includes creating test plans, managing test data, tracking defects, and reporting progress through dashboards and KPIs.
  • You will work in close collaboration with workstream leads, IT, and vendors to ensure issues are resolved quickly and that business benefits are delivered.
  • You will also be responsible for establishing a repeatable testing framework and transition plan to support ongoing operations post go-live.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in global ERP implementations, with proven leadership across both business architecture and testing.
  • Deep knowledge of ERP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.) and their integration points.
  • Strong background in business process modeling, optimization, and documentation (BPMN, Visio, or similar).
  • Hands-on expertise in testing methodologies, ERP test planning, defect management, and execution.
  • Experience with test management tools (HP ALM, JIRA, QTest) and automation tools (SAP TAO, Selenium, UFT).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge business and IT teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting issues in complex ERP environments.
  • Familiarity with project and change management in large-scale ERP programs.
    Preferred: ISTQB, SAP certifications, Six Sigma, or similar credentials.
