Calibration and Automation Engineer

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment.

  • Experience working on offshore projects.

  • Strong creative thinking skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to stay updated with the latest technologies.

  • Commitment to continually upgrading technical knowledge.

  • Knowledge of onboard systems or equivalent vessel system knowledge.

  • Familiarity with electrical and electronic components is preferred.

  • Ability to work onboard (offshore) for extended periods, often for months at a time.

  • A minimum of one year of experience in the onboard/offshore field is preferred.

  • Capability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in relevant fields such as ship automation is a plus.

  • Familiarity with applicable codes related to electronic engineering.

  • Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting using structured text programming.
