DTP Artist

About Us:

SURTECO Pte Ltd is a global leader in decorative surfaces and edge banding solutions, is seeking a DTP Artist to join our team in Singapore.

About the Role:

The DTP Artist will be responsible for preparing, adapting, and finalising artwork files for print production. This includes accurate colour conversion (RGB to CMYK), colour matching, and managing artwork libraries while ensuring compliance with SURTECO's brand and quality standards. This detail-oriented role requires strong pre-press expertise and collaboration with sales and marketing, while also contributing to design innovation, market trends, and business growth within SURTECO Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor and analyse paper trends across Asia through market insights and customer feedback.

· Drive continuous design innovation by developing new concepts for market consideration.

· Convert, prepare, and finalise artwork for high-quality print production.

· Manage colour matching and liaise with factories in China & Germany.

· Oversee sample preparation and design center displays.

· Provide sales and marketing support with design presentations and trend materials.

· Act as the link between the factory, the sales and customer.

· Maintain library of artwork.

· Ensure compliance with brand, quality, and sustainability standards.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Strong technical knowledge of pre-press and print production processes.

· Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite).

· Excellent eye for detail, colour accuracy, and layout.

· Ability to conceptualize designs and a leader in establishing trends

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

· Knowledge of market trends.

· Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Education and Experience:

· Diploma in Design or similar.

· years' experience in design within the printing/ manufacturing industry.
