Our client is seeking a Python Imaging Software Developer (Lead) to join their team

About Our Client:

They are the SAAS solution providers for Independent 3rd party, commercially available subjective and objective test and performance evaluation system for border scanners in Air/Sea/Land/Rail/Postal and important secured POI like prisons, power plants etc.

What you'll be doing?
  • Develop imaging applications: Create and maintain sophisticated image processing applications using Python, leveraging libraries like Pillow (PIL) and OpenCV.
  • Implement computer vision solutions: Design and build advanced object detection, recognition, and segmentation systems using state-of-the-art computer vision techniques.
  • Create web-based tools: Develop Flask-based web applications and APIs for seamless integration of image processing services.
  • Optimize performance: Enhance and fine-tune large-scale image processing applications for maximum efficiency and speed.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with data scientists and software engineers to develop innovative imaging solutions that meet diverse business needs.
  • Lead and mentor: Guide and support team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in imaging software development.
Who are they looking for?
  • Python expertise: Possess strong Python programming skills with at least 3 years of experience focusing on imaging applications.
  • Image processing proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in using Pillow (PIL) and OpenCV for advanced image manipulation and computer vision tasks.
  • Web development skills: Show proficiency in Flask for creating robust web-based image processing tools and APIs.
  • Data analysis capabilities: Have a good understanding of Pandas and NumPy for effective data processing and numerical computations.
  • GUI development experience: Bring hands-on experience in developing user-friendly desktop applications using Tkinter.
  • Problem-solving abilities: Exhibit strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills to tackle complex imaging challenges.
  • Collaborative mindset: Thrive in both independent and team-oriented work environments, with excellent communication skills.
  • Educational background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Other Information:

Working Day: 5 Days

Working Hour: 9am-5pm

Working Location: Near to Bendemeer MRT

Salary Range: $8,000-$10,000
