Job Description

Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact and tangible financial results.

VCA is involved in a comprehensive range of consulting services and solutions to our clients, that address unique challenges in areas such as strategic growth, profitability, risk management, digital strategy, and data-driven portfolio management decisions.

The incumbent will be part of the VCA geographic team cluster of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand (SMT) markets supporting the Singapore market

What a Client Consulting Manager does at Visa:

Reporting to a Director within the VCA Singapore team, the incumbent will support a key client to provide end-to-end planning and execution of the product strategy for the client's Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) card product toward client objectives of driving penetration within the UHNW segment and overall growth in market share. In this role, you are expected to:

  • Increase customer acquisition, drive customer engagement and grow incremental card spend for the client's UHNW proposition
  • Create top-of-mind awareness of the client card in the UHNW space, improve overall client performance, and provide strategic guidance for client priorities
  • Identify opportunities and gaps to enhance card proposition and privileges to sustain appeal and drive proposition differentiation
  • Produce insights, analysis, and recommendations via competitor analysis and market research to maintain competitive positioning for the client
  • Plan and execute bespoke events and marketing campaigns with client internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Proactively identify opportunities where Visa services can augment and enhance the client's proposition, grow the Visa-Client partnership model and support overall client engagement
  • Manage operational tasks such as addressing customer queries, assisting with system enhancements, raising vendor contracts, requisition and invoicing for payment processing, and stocktaking inventory for card plastic and mailers

Why this is important to Visa

The overall affluent segment is a key target segment for Visa and this role will directly impact growth for the client and Visa in the UHNW space through support of a UHNW product. The role will also support identification and conversion of identified opportunities for Visa services to augment and enhance the client's overall product proposition.

Projects you will be a part of:

You will be directly involved in growing the UHNW cards business for a key client, supporting acquisition, engagement and retention of cardholders, and entrenching the client's position in the UHNW segment.

Qualifications
  • What you will need:

  • 8+ years of product management experience in the payments industry
  • Demonstrated ability in card portfolio management with experience in UHNW card propositions
  • Customer focused with the ability to understand and anticipate client and customer needs
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills
  • Data driven with good analytical skills
  • Able to adapt and work independently in a fast-paced environment to deliver results
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Creative and meticulous with an eye for details
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills to collaborate widely with cross-functional teams
