JOB DESCRIPTION

The Server is responsible for carrying large trays with food from the kitchen to any table in the restaurant. They ensure all dishes match the ticket, including modifiers and special requests. They deliver the correct food to the correct table number, compute food or beverage service bills, and verify the completeness of customer orders. They examine food on the tray en route from the kitchen or beverages enroute from the service bar, comparing the items with the listing on the customer order to verify completeness and accuracy. They operate machines similar to the cash register to compute charges.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Beverage preparation, service and table allocation.

· Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner.

· Assist in placing orders and managing deliveries to ensure adequate supply while minimizing waste.

· Set up tables with appropriate utensils, condiments, and decorations before guests arrive.

· Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.

· Ensure that all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, and service stations, are clean, organized, and well-maintained.

· Ensure cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including wiping tables, chairs, and surfaces.

· Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders.

· Ensure that all customers receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service.

· Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.

· Foster a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere to enhance the overall dining experience.

· Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.

· Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.

· Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.

· Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, and presentation standards.

· Having a can-do attitude and be committal.

· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned, including performing stock take.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2, $2,800.00 per month
