As a Software Test Automation Engineer Intern, you will help build and maintain a robust, scalable test automation infrastructure for Fitting Software to enhance software quality, reduce manual testing, and speed up release cycles. Your work will involve prototyping new test frameworks, integrating visual testing tools, supporting hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and developing automated test execution and reporting pipelines. This role serves as a valuable backup resource, contributing to key automation initiatives and ensuring smooth testing operations.

What you will do
  • Research and prototype a modern test automation framework for Windows desktop applications, focusing on tools like Pywinauto
  • Develop representative automated test cases for audiological fitting software to evaluate the solution's feasibility, scalability, and maintainability
  • Integrate real hardware devices into automated test loops for flexible, programmable, and consistent end-to-end validation across various hardware setups
  • Design and implement automated test pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML scripting, managing virtual machines and integrating workflows to optimize the build-test-deploy process
  • Enhance test automation by integrating visual testing tools for pixel-based image comparison, UI regression detection, and generating visual diffs to improve GUI validation quality
What you bring
  • Undergraduate in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or other related fields
  • Proficiency in Python and C#, with experience working in Azure DevOps environments
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
